Description
Timber decking is a great way to enhance any home, garden, commercial or retail property. Natural timber has attractive and unique features that set it apart from other products.
Natural timber is hydroscopic meaning it absorbs and holds water molecules from the environment. In effect this means timber expands when taking in moisture and contracts when timber dry’s. With correct maintenance the effects nature has on timber can be minimised.
Care and Maintenance:
To ensure your timber deck lasts the test of time, apply two coats of recommended deck oil to all faces and edges prior to installation. Thereafter clean the decking and apply a fresh coat of deck oil approximately every twelve months.
Sarwood Timbers can supply pre-oiled decking saving you hours on the job allowing you to enjoy your completed deck earlier.
